Continuing Care
The goal of Arch to Freedom has never been to keep guests in the program as long as possible. The goal is to prepare them so well that when they leave, they are ready. But ready does not mean alone.
The Relationship Does Not End at Discharge
Our continuing care approach ensures that guests transition out of our program with a clear plan, strong connections, and the knowledge that our team remains available to them. The relationships built during a guest’s time in our transitional housing program, with staff, with peers, and with the broader recovery community, are designed to last well beyond their stay. Leaving Arch does not mean starting over. It means taking everything that was built here and carrying it forward.
Long-Term Support for Long-Term Recovery
Before a guest transitions out, our team works with them to make sure their outside support network is solid. That means clinical care is established and consistent, 12-step engagement is strong, employment or education is stable, and the guest has a realistic plan for housing, finances, and daily structure. We do not rush this process. When a guest leaves Arch to Freedom, we want them to feel genuinely prepared, not just ready on paper.
Continuing care after discharge may include ongoing check-ins with staff, alumni events and community gatherings, and support in navigating the challenges that come with fully independent living. Many of our alumni stay connected to the Arch community for years, attending events, mentoring newer guests, and maintaining the friendships they built during their time in the program. At Arch to Freedom, we measure our success not just by what happens inside our program, but by how our guests thrive in their addiction recovery and mental health long after they leave.
