Case Management

Included in

If you ask our staff what makes Arch to Freedom different from other programs, most of them will point to Case Management first. It is the service that ties everything else together, and it is the reason our guests leave with more than just sobriety. They leave with direction.

The Foundation of Everything We Do

Each guest in our Touchstone Program is assigned a dedicated Case Manager who works with them several times per week to build and refine their Individualized Growth Plan. Our Case Managers are trained and supervised by a Master’s-level clinician, and many are peers in recovery themselves, bringing both clinical knowledge and lived experience to the relationship. This combination allows them to connect with guests on a level that is both professional and genuinely personal. They are not clipboard-carrying monitors. They are advocates, coaches, and accountability partners who are invested in each guest’s success.

The work is practical and specific. Case Managers help guests with resume building, interview preparation, job searching, budgeting, structuring a daily schedule, and connecting to outside providers for clinical and psychiatric care. They also support guests in engaging with the South Florida 12-step recovery community, helping them find meetings, sponsors, and peer connections that reinforce long-term sobriety. For men in our transitional housing program who are working through addiction recovery and mental health challenges simultaneously, having a dedicated advocate who knows their story and holds them accountable makes a measurable difference.

Hands-On Guidance for Real-World Progress

Beyond the individual work, Case Managers serve as the connective tissue between a guest and the rest of the Arch to Freedom program. They coordinate with our Recovery Advocates, our clinical partners, outside therapists and psychiatrists, and family members when appropriate. If a guest is struggling, their Case Manager is usually the first person to notice and the first person to step in. If a guest is making progress, their Case Manager is there to help them raise the bar and set new goals.

Case Management is built into the Touchstone Program and available on an optional basis for guests in the Core Program. Regardless of program level, every guest benefits from the structure, accountability, and personalized attention that our Case Management team provides.
