Chris Robinson
Case Manager

Chris Robinson
Case Manager
From Jupiter, FL, Chris Robinson has been in long-term recovery since 2014. He is passionate about helping others escape the black hole of addiction, untreated trauma, and mental health. Since 2016, he has worked in the fields of substance use disorder and mental health in a variety of roles such as Director of Admissions, Director of Alumni Services, Group Facilitator, Recovery Coach, and Sober Companion. He is a CCAR Certified Recovery Coach, RYT 200 Yoga and meditation teacher, certified SMART facilitator, and Refuge Recovery facilitator.
His approach to coaching & companionship is to start with compassion and to actively listen to each client. He has worked with individuals at all ends of the spectrum, from professional athletes, to young people coming into treatment for the first time. He has been a sober coach and companion to high net worth individuals on Palm Beach Island, and worked in a hospital setting. He has worked with patients who have struggled with major mental health issues - manic episodes, hallucinations, previous suicide attempts, combative behaviors, etc. Working with a variety of different clients has proven to be useful to the clients, families, and professionals he gets to work with.
As a Recovery Coach, he believes there are as many ways to get sober as there are to not get sober. He believes in empowering his clients by helping them see that the answers they are searching for are already inside of them, they just need help finding their strength again, and often encouragement and accountability to consistently follow their treatment team’s professional recommendations. Often working with a client means helping them shift their thought process from what they are giving up, to what they will be able to add to their lives. As a Coach & Companion, he is often a strong advocate for a client, and as such, works well with client’s families and other professionals to set up an individualized playbook for success.
He is a grateful father to a precious young daughter, and when he is not playing dress up with her, he trains in Ju-Jitsu, practices Yoga, is an avid reader, and enjoys relaxing at the beach.
