After a 30-year career consulting with both large and small companies to help improve productivity and job satisfaction, through the introduction of business process reengineering software and systems around the world, Steve made the decision to return to the field of counseling where he began his career after earning a BA in Psychology from The George Washington University in 1983. Later, Steve returned to school where he completed a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Lynn University. Steve is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida, a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Steve’s career in counseling has led him to specialize in the treatment of client and family trauma, addiction and family dysfunction, allowing both clients and families to overcome unhealthy relationships and behaviors leading to stronger, healthier and more functional lives. Steve has been working in some of the leading South Florida treatment programs for the last 13 years and has been part of the leadership teams for the last 9 years. Steve has utilized his innate abilities, along with his training, experience and education, to understand the needs of individuals and the systems within which they function and help them focus on achieving their goals of more functional, healthy and complete lives. Steve has had the opportunity to hone his clinical skills for over 12 years as part of the leadership team for a variety of mental health agencies and his private practice.
